NARSA SUPPORTS ‘BLUE ALL OVER’ FUN WALK/RUN
Hello everyone!
As you may have seen the Rangers Charity Foundation (RCF) publicized the Blue All Over Fun Walk/Run event that was originally supposed to take place at Ibrox earlier this year. Like many organizations, RCF has suffered greatly due to the devastating impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic which has severely limited their abilities to serve the communities that they are actively involved in. NARSA 2020 attendees were already signing up to support RCF with the Peak to Peak walk in San Francisco, which also succumbed to the pandemic. This is where you come in.
What we’d like to encourage is that you and your NARSA family engage in the 5km walk/run and obtain as many sponsorships / donations as you can to help RCF. It gives NARSA another opportunity to deepen our connections with Rangers Football Club and RCF in a time when it is greatly needed.
Details are as follows:
When: Anytime between Monday, June 22nd and Sunday, June 28th
Where: Wherever you like (that is safe for all participants)!
How to Register: Complete the Fundraiser Agreement
How to Donate: For all/any donations for this event please go to: https://justgiving.com/fundraising/narsa2020
This will allow donations from anyone and will help us keep a tally on how much the NARSA family has managed to raise
What Happens Next: Once you have registered and planned your walk/run, go ahead and complete it and inform your sponsors that it’s done and ask that they contribute their donations
Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help/support you setting this up for yourself or your club, and please make sure you publicize as much as possible in your community and on social media to get the word out there and drum up support.
There will be a special NARSA prize for the member club who raises the most monies for RCF through this event, so please make sure you and your sponsors mention your RSC when completing the donations in the ‘Your message’ area of the Just Giving site.
Good luck and thanks in advance for your support for this wonderful charity.
